David Strebinger – Leader

David Strebinger

With over 13 years of corporate development experience and an in depth understanding of the venture capital world, in 2000 David founded Infinity One Financial, a corporate development and investor relations firm that focused on aiding startup technology companies in acquiring and maintaining shareholders and developing online marketing and lead generation strategies. In 2002, he successfully negotiated the sale of Infinity One to Vancouver based venture capital firm Jupiter Capital Ventures which David ran as President from 2002 to 2005.

In 2005, he founded Caring Capital Corporation (a privately held Venture Capital company focused on funding and developing technology companies that are designed to positively impact society). David has an in-depth knowledge of developing and running both private and public companies, fund raising, along with a vast experience in the online marketing, technology and mobile industries. Educated at UBC with minor in Economics and major in Psychology.

David has an amazing wife, is a ‘thought leader’, creative puzzle solver, and leads by example.

Dale Borland – Operations

Dale Borland

Dale is a strong business professional with an extensive global background and “on the ground” experience in successfully re-shaping and managing Information Technology and business operations.

At the end of 2005, Dale held various senior and executive positions in IT and Operations, product development and sales & marketing across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. With over 7,000 clients, an annual capital budget approaching $50M and a business infrastructure supporting $4B in revenues, Dale’s role in directing and managing excellence in IT infrastructure and operations was pivotal to driving productivity efficiency and business advantage for Microsoft’s divisions across the region.

Most recently, Dale held the position of President & CEO at Marqui Inc, a Software-as-a-Service (SAS) web-solutions company specializing in On-Line Automation software development and sales.

Rob Whittle – Marketing & Business Development

Rob Whittle

Until early 2008 Rob was the National President of DDB Canada (formerly Palmer Jarvis DDB) – Canada’s most awarded and most creative advertising agency.

Rob’s category expertise is broad and includes tourism and hospitality (Canadian Tourism Commission, Vanoc, Tourism Vancouver), food service (McDonald’s,Boston Pizza), crown corporations (ICBC, BC Lottery Corporation) and packaged goods (SunRype) and mass retail (Real Canadian Superstores, DELL, The Bay,Bootlegger) to name just a few.

Rob is particularly skilled at analyzing go to market strategies and the structuralimplications of such strategies for the client. In addition, Rob is skilled in the areas of new media (web‐based) and social media.
